Thanks Kalyn, and that’s a good point. You can always get a domain name later and do a forward like you are. It’s a great way to “get more professional” later if that’s where it takes you.

Hey, very fun seeing this on my referring sites and then coming here to find my blog mentioned as a success! Thanks! I admit, if I’d had the slightest idea what I was doing when I started Kalyn’s Kitchen I probably would have started with my own domain, but once I figured it out I had so many links I couldn’t imagine switching and losing all the page rank! I did buy kalynskitchen.com a few years ago though, which I think helps people find it even if they forget the blogspot. Great post on a complicated subject.

I didn’t even realise that Kalyn was still on blogspot. Good example! We’ll see which direction this takes me.
