I declared myself a geek waaaaaay back in college. It all stated innocent enough. I didn’t have a computer growing up so I reluctantly took a computer class in college. We learned the basics, all Unix of course as Microsoft hadn’t taken over the world yet. We surfed the web via Lynx and Gopher. That was until Mosaic and soon Netscape took over. I remember using talk to chat with my friends and cursing vi when my professors insisted on using it even though Pico was way easier to use. Read the rest of this entry »
